OLD LOVE By Norm Foster

The story spans three decades and half a dozen meetings between Bud, a salesman, and Molly, his boss’s wife. One of them is smitten from the very first meeting—the other, let’s just say—less so.

The play moves forward and back through their sporadic encounters, mostly manufactured by Bud, with each character baring their heart and soul to the other and in poignant monologues.

Canada’s pre-eminent comic playwright Norm Foster has written a clever and witty dialogue celebrating the pursuit of love, the kind of love that ‘makes you breathe just a little bit faster.’ Charmingly written … Foster’s use of one-liners serves the script well and has the audience smiling, chuckling and laughing throughout the entire play.

SHOWTIMES: Friday, February 2nd – 7:30 pm; Saturday, February 3rd – 2:00 pm & 7:30 pm

OUTSIDE MULLIGAR By John Patrick Shanley

Anthony and Rosemary are two introverted misfits straddling 40. Anthony has spent his entire life on a cattle farm in rural Ireland, a state of affairs that — due to his painful shyness — suits him well. Rosemary lives right next door, determined to have him, watching the years slip away. With Anthony’s father threatening to disinherit him and a land feud simmering between their families, Rosemary has every reason to fear romantic catastrophe.

But then, in this very Irish story with a surprising depth of poetic passion, these yearning, eccentric souls fight their way towards solid ground and some kind of happiness. Their journey is heartbreaking, funny as hell, and ultimately deeply moving. Outside Mullingar is a compassionate, delightful work about how it’s never too late to take a chance on love.

SHOWTIMES: Friday, April 20th – 7:30 pm, Saturday, April 20th – 7:30 pm, Sunday, April 22nd – 2:00 pm, Friday, April 27th – 7:30 pm, Saturday, April 28th – 7:30 pm
