Baldy Mountain Resort

The resort is located on the south side of Mount Baldy in South Okanagan, just north of the Canada-US border. Baldy’s day lodge rests at 5,650 feet above sea level, the ski area is lift serviced to 7000ft, and the summit is 7557ft.

Each business has it's own signature bead for you to find and collect. It's a fun and affordable way to get yourself a beautiful, unique piece of jewelry. Get started with a map and a bracelet at the participating Oliver Visitor Centre or other Okanagan Visitor Centres and businesses.

Pedi–Cab tours of the Myra Canyon trestles and tunnels. You will cross 14 trestles and go through 2 tunnels on this historical tour. Sit back and enjoy the view as we do the peddling for you. Young children, mobility challenged and seniors can now join our cycle tours getting the whole family to enjoy this scenic location. Myra Canyon Bike Rentals

ONSITE BICYCLE RENTALS on one of British Columbia’s wonders. Experience a part of the historical Kettle Valley Railway route built between 1912-1914. This well-established, interactive trail is over 18 trestles and through 2 tunnels, offers spectacular views of Myra Canyon and Okanagan Lake. The track is located at an elevation of over 1.200 meter, it is relatively level and the full circuit of 24km can be cycled in under 4 hours. We offer new, branded comfort bikes in sizes for adults and children, tag-alongs and child trailers to pull the little ones. We also offer guided and self-guided tours to Penticton; a wonderful day trip. Rental periods; morning from 9am-1pm, afternoon 1:30-5:30pm and evening rentals in July and August from 5-8pm.
Hours of operation: 7 days a week from May 18th until October 10th from 9am-5:30pm. In July and August also open in the evening from 5pm-8pm
We rent tag-alongs and child trailers. Tag-along suitable for 4+; child trailer for 1-5 years old. Both rented in combination with a rented adult bicycle. Child trailers are suitable for 1-2 children and can carry up to 80lbs.
NK’Mip Desert Cultural Centre

The spectacular Nk’Mip Desert Cultural Centre (pronounced in-ka-meep) is the Okanagan’s newest family tourism destination. The state-of-the-art interpretive centre is an architectural marvel sensitively constructed into a hillside. Extensive indoor and outdoor exhibit galleries create a fun, interactive learning environment with hands-on displays, education stations and two multi-media theatre experiences. Discover the fascinating stories of Canada’s only desert and share in the rich living culture of the Okanagan people.

A non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of wild birds, animals and plants.
The club has scheduled walks every two weeks in Spring to early Summer, then Fall. Scheduled walks & events posted at the Oliver Visitor Centre. Outings are generally easy to moderate. Please call ahead for additional information and to confirm nature of hike(s). Non-members and visitors are invited to join the club on outings/events and are encouraged to join the club after two hikes. Annual AGM held in March, and a pot-luck dinner in October, both with invited speakers.
