Wednesday March 14: Work party, Solana Key, Osoyoos
Some work needs to be done at our project at Solana Key. Much tall grass and weeds need to be removed. A tree was illegally cut last summer by a resident who is no longer there. The province and town chose to not prosecute or even charge for damages. It is accordingly up to the club to remove the resulting mess as part of Wednesday’s work. Bring gloves, saws etc. for typical garden clean up. Wear good footwear and clothing since we will be on a muddy bank near water. To get to the project, travel east on Hwy 3 to the traffic lights on Cottonwood; turn right 1 block then left. One block ahead is the project. Contact: Skip 250-485-0263.
