Admission By Donation.  Find out more about Canada’s imperiled caribou. Follow the Little Smoky caribou herd in the foothills of Alberta’s Rocky Mountains in the documentary “Billion Dollar Caribou” and hear from conservation experts, aboriginal groups, researchers, government and industry as they discuss caribou conservation. Following the film, join biologist Daryll Hebert for a talk about the challenges facing Canada’s caribou and his first-hand experience trying to help preserve this iconic species.

Throughout the year, the Osoyoos Desert Society offers a variety of educational programs, including lecture series and hands-on workshops. Through its programs the Society strives to increase public awareness and knowledge, inform attitudes, and provide opportunities for the public to get involved and have a positive impact on their environment.    250-495-2470    Toll free: 1-877-899-0897
