Enjoy a glass of Okanagan wine.

Nestled in the beautiful south Okanagan, Oliver can proudly call itself the Wine Capital of Canada. Vineyards dot the landscape and provide the necessary ingredients to produce some of the finest vintages in the country, and we’re home to more than 20 of British Columbia’s licensed, internationally recognized wineries.

The “Golden Mile” on the west bench is recognized as a distinctive viticultural area that is rich with glacial deposits formed from the ice age. Other wineries located on the “Black Sage” east bench have equally unique growing climates with deep sandy deposits. Winemakers assert that different soil conditions, known as terroir, have an identifiable impact on the flavour of the wines.

Our selection of vintages, available directly from the wineries or local retail outlets, is second to none. Every style and flavour, including reds, whites, rosés, sparkling and ice wines are available. Wineries of every type and size are willing to open their doors and let wine enthusiasts peruse their operations.

Be sure to pair a vintage with specially crafted dishes at a winery restaurant or with local artisan cheese and nibbles for an impromptu picnic on the winery grounds. The views are as a good as the wines.

Kismet BISTRO PATIO
La Stella Winery
At LaStella, we celebrate the sun that ripens our grapes and brings warmth to our life, and we share that with everyone who visits us. Situated at Osoyoos Lake in the sunny South Okanagan valley of beautiful British Columbia, our vineyards produce great fruit and we craft them into such proprietary wines as Allegretto, Vivace and Maestoso. Each wine has its own story — and to convey this unique story we name our wines after Italian musical notes.
Salute!
Le Vieux Pin Winery
250-498-7165
A majestic old pine tree stands in our vineyard: Le Vieux Pin. It speaks to the earth and rain and the clean clear air of the South Okanagan. Here on the famous Black Sage Bench overlooking the valley we have created a winery paying homage to the great personalities and wines of France.
Our goal is to make wines that capture the essence of French winemaking tradition, but with the fruit and character of the New World. We are dedicated to making wines that are elegant and focused, with great intensity of fruit.
Moon Curser Vineyards
250-495-5161
Moon Curser Vineyards is a small, family owned winery on the East Bench of Osoyoos, BC, a South Okanagan border town known for its hot summers, beautiful lakes and vineyards. It has been in operation since 2004, when Chris and Beata Tolley purchased an old orchard in need of replanting, and set about converting it into what is now the Moon Curser home vineyard block, winery and tasting room.

The Moon Curser name pays tribute to the gold smuggling history of Osoyoos. The Moon Curser wines, however, show no such respect for tradition – the winery is known for growing unusual varieties such as Tannat, Dolcetto, Touriga Nacional, and Arneis to name a few. These varieties that have not historically been a part of the South Okanagan viticulture, but thrive in the unique terroir on the Osoyoos East Bench.

The vines have thrived in Osoyoos and continue to deliver unique, world-class interpretations of these traditional wines. Moon Curser has brought home many a gold medal from Canadian and international wine competitions.
