Inspired by the award-winning Okanagan winemaker Michael Bartier, Bartier Bros. Wines are an earnest expression of the Okanagan Valley's geography, history and people. The Valley's ethos dictates a proud resilience optimism and self-reliance where the hallmark qualities of hard work and contentment reign. Inspiration is always useful, and the valley has it in spades, but it is the fundamental work ethic that has always fulfilled this inspiration. So it should come as no great surprise to learn it is the indefatigable dedication to the work itself that drives the Bartier Bros' farming and wine growing philosophy.
A local restaurant with international flavour, Best of India is located on Main St.

Black Hills Estate Winery vineyards have some of the most favourable grape growing conditions in the country, resulting in exceptional terroir. Located on the famed Black Sage Road, 13 kilometres north of Osoyoos, BC and 10 kilometres south of Oliver, BC. This places Black Hills Estate in the Okanagan Valley appellation, centered in the middle of Canada’s only official desert. The resulting microclimate leaves us with one of hottest, driest and sunniest sites in the country. In fact, with our northern latitude, we have more sunlight hours than Napa Valley in the key growing months of June through August.
The Toor family immigrated to North America in 1994 from Punjab, India. They have been calling the South Okanagan home for many years. Originally tending their orchards, the family has been farming here since 2002. Harpreet and Navpreet are the proprietors of this family owned and operated winery. Together with the help of their three children, Navi, Siraj and Imraj, they have opened and launched Blue Sky Estate winery. During harvest it is all hands on deck with Harpeet and Navpreet at the helm. The entire extended family comes out to help.
At Bordertown Vineyards and Estate Winery, you’ll find the Gills, a fifth-generation farming family working a 35-acre vineyard that produces craft wine grapes for top wineries in the Okanagan Valley.
For Mohan Gill, the opening of Bordertown in May 2015 was the culmination of a lifetime dream.
Mohan and his family built their reputation as growers, supplying some of the Okanagan’s best fruit to a select few wineries and winemakers. Their vineyards are some of the most highly regarded in British Columbia.
Renowned for their integrity, attention to detail and impeccable farming skills, it’s the Gill’s passion for quality coupled with their experience and familiarity with the land they farm that sets them apart from the rest.
Balance is a time-honoured goal in the making of premium wines and working toward balance is a way of life at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery. Founder Jim Wyse is committed to balance, well beyond that of the fine, world-class wines being produced. A kind of Hippocratic oath (“to do no harm”) underlies the creative viticultural and enological practices at Burrowing Owl. The Guest House at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery is your sanctuary and is steps away from the Sonora Room Restaurant and our Wine Shop. Nestled into the 140-acre vineyard, this is your time to reconnect, retreat and rejuvenate.
We’ve been around awhile in the winery business. We started the winery in January of 2006, and opened our wine shop a few months later in April. We have seen a lot, done a lot, worked a lot and enjoyed a lot of wine. Family owned, we are true vignerons – we make wine from grapes we grow. Simply, we are farmers who like to make good wine. Our wine shop is open daily. Come by for a tasting of our wines, and leave with a few of your favourites. We’re located right off of highway 97 south, about halfway between Oliver and Osoyoos, B.C.
Chris grew up in the Okanagan as a fruit farmer for most of his life. He made the switch from cherries to grapes in 2002 and grew 63 acres of vinifera for 11 years before making the decision to open his own winery. In 2012, he took the leap and turned his fruit packing warehouse into a cellar and tasting room. Like most people you probably assumed that C. C. were Chris’ initials? Actually, they stand for his middle name, Carl, and his wife`s middle name, Coelho, which means rabbit in Portuguese. Chris' branding describes his life, or more accurately, the most important part of it- his love and devotion for his wife, Betty.
The von Mandl family began their journey over 40 years ago. The first sign of the real potential of the vineyards came in 1994 with a surprise win at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in London for ‘Top Chardonnay in the World.’ The family has developed exceptional vineyards with distinctive Chardonnay and Merlot clones, some of which are now over 40 years old, at what are now CheckMate Artisanal Winery vineyards.

Starting as growers, the Toor brothers learned the business literally, from the ground up. Randy, Jessie and Dave Toor learned wine in the vineyards, and this serves as the background of their philosophy in making great wine – memorable, award winning wines can only be achieved with wonderful grapes. Great philanthropists, the Toor family donates proceeds from winery tastings to building and maintaining a sports stadium in India. Annual tournaments take the family back to celebrate their ongoing commitment.

We opened Gold Hill in 2009, but our story begins 8,000 years ago when agriculture first blossomed in the Indus Valley, a fertile strip in the Punjab of Northwest India. Growing conditions in the Indus Valley, particularly for fruit, were much like our Southern Okanagan region: a magical combination of temperature, elevation, soil and airflow.
Our founders, brothers Sant and Gurbachan Gill, are farmers from the Indus Valley region. Our ancestors have always been farmers, as far back as our knowledge reaches. Growing fruit is in our bones.
At Hester Creek, our roots run deep: from the wines crafted from historic old vines that were first planted to classic varietals in 1968, to our passion in creating an atmosphere of gracious hospitality for our guests.
We thought we would take a page out of the grape vines play book and use the sun to make all the power we need. It turns out it is easy being green! The only wires you will find heading towards our winery are there to hold up the grape vine canopy. Our winery is completely off the grid. You wouldn’t guess it by looking at the front of the winery. From the front, our three dormer cape cod style tasting room sits welcoming guests and is attached to the barrel room by a breezeway. It is the back where all the magic happens. Every available southern facing roof space is covered in solar panels there to harness and store the sun’s rays.
We are a small, boutique winery. We believe great wine is an expression of the area it comes from…it’s grown, not made. A combination of soil, sun, vine & man, our wine begins with its roots deep within the sandy loam of the northern tip of the Great-Basin Desert. It is then ripened by the hot Okanagan sun and finally aged in our unique underground cellar, which is overlooked by the Hidden Chapel. Come visit our cheery tasting room, view the underground cellar & experience the Hidden Chapel nestled in the pines surrounded by beautiful gardens. We believe our wines are blessed by the Hidden Chapel...tasting is believing!

La Casa Bianca Winery is a ‘Family Friendly’ winery that is nestled in the South Okanagan Valley. It is named after our daughter ‘Bianca’, as well as our White House on our Vineyard. We find that our sustainable agricultural methods presents us with the finest grapes which are artfully crafted into a wine with no additives, apart from minimal sulphites. Our wines rich taste are from longer fermentation times, and from our grapes which are nurtured with our love and care.
At LaStella, we celebrate the sun that ripens our grapes and brings warmth to our life, and we share that with everyone who visits us. LaStella is situated at Osoyoos Lake in the sunny South Okanagan valley of beautiful British Columbia. Here our vineyards produce great fruit and we craft them into such proprietary wines as Allegretto, Vivace and Maestoso. Each wine has its own story — and to convey this unique story we name our wines after Italian musical notes.

Wine is, above all, a social event: love and life and good humor in bottled form. To raise a glass of wine with family and friends is to take a break from busy life and invest in living.
At Maverick Estate Winery, we believe our family and friends—and yours—deserve exceptional wine. Bucking today’s highly mechanized, high-production trends, we are instead committed to a by-hand, Old World approach to winemaking. We are deliberately small in production, deliberately patient in our process because we believe that working in tune with nature is the only way to capture the clean, rich, multi-layered flavors of premium fruit.

We invite you to come visit our winery and nurture your passion for wine while experiencing this little piece of paradise.
Osoyoos, the border town where we are located, has long been celebrated for the rich soil and brilliant sunshine. But during the gold rush, it was the dark of night that brought commotion to the area.
Then, an unscrupulous procession of gold-smuggling miners returned stateside by the hundreds, if not by the thousands. All under the cover of night – trying to avoid customs agents at all cost. Often, the light of the moon would foil their plans, shedding light onto their surreptitious travels and activities.
At Nk’Mip Cellars, we are the dedicated guardians of a proud legacy. As the first Aboriginal-owned winery in North America, we are inspired to express our culture in everything we do. Our Winery itself is a bold celebration and strong reflection of our commitment to authenticity and deep respect for our colourful past. We extend an invitation to discover, not only the international award-wining wines we produce, but also the relentless spirit and remarkable history that inspire them.
Noble Ridge Vineyard Winery lays in the Okanagan Valley at the northern most tip of the only desert in Canada. The winery is named for the noble varieties of grapes grown and the ridge that divides the land on which they thrive. But this noble name is more than just a nod to the land. It’s a statement of values and a reminder of the hard work and dedication on which the winery was built.
Everyone has a story, it seems, from back in the good old days, which makes a visit to Oliver Twist Estate Winery a trip down memory lane. Pipe Dreams Vineyard Estate Winery
Pipe Dreams represents the fulfillment of chances taken, working against the grain to achieve the impossible. With wines made from his estate vineyard and other locally-sourced grapes, the first release will see only 500 cases made available for sale. John hired well-respected Mark Wendenburg, a legend in the Canadian wine industry, to be his winemaker. Mark crafted award-winning wines at Sumac Ridge for almost 20 years after completing oenology training in Germany, which makes him perfectly-suited to work with these particular varietals.
Along with offering award winning wines, here at Platinum Bench we offer the unique experience of having an on-site artisan bread bakery. We also have a full menu of local cheeses and preserves for sale. Food and wine can be enjoyed while lounging in the vineyard, or packed for the road on to your next destination.
Our winery is owned and operated by John and Maria Ferreira; both born in Portugal, immigrated to Canada with their families at a young age. We purchased this estate in 1979 as an orchard where we grew cherries, peaches and apples. Coming from a Portuguese heritage our passion of wine led us to convert our orchard into a vineyard after 20 years in production and packaging of fruit. The conversion of fruit to wine was done over a three-year period with the first merlot and chardonnay grapes being planted in 1999, additional varietals followed.
